Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to work closely with our team members to provide exceptional service to our customers. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls and emails, answering questions regarding pricing and setup for our Residential trash service, and creating a positive experience for each caller. Key Responsibilities Answering calls for new and existing customers, responding efficiently and accurately to callers, and setting up new service or support for existing services. Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing conflict as needed to ensure that callers feel valued and supported. Utilizing software, databases, and tools appropriately to manage customer interactions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of blithequark and the Customer Service Representative position. Adhering to all blithequark policies and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in customer service delivery. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Prior call center or dispatch experience is preferred, but not required; however, a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential. High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and additional education or training in customer service or a related field is an asset. Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice, and MS Office skills are necessary for success in this role. Understanding of blithequark products, services, and policies is required, and the ability to learn and adapt to new information is essential. Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills are necessary for managing customer interactions and resolving issues efficiently. Strong time management and decision-making skills are required to prioritize tasks, manage multiple customer interactions, and make informed decisions. Adaptability and accountability are essential for success in this role, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in multiple languages is preferred, but not required; however, the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds is necessary.
