About the Role We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team of professional fundraisers. As a full-time, zero-commission, outbound, work-from-home position, you will have the opportunity to elevate your career and use your skills to help make our world a better place. Each day and each call can be different, as you find new child sponsors, welcome new donors, renew event participants, and invite donors to give monthly. You will thank, connect, engage, and inspire, always looking for creative new ways to delight on every call. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to existing supporters of our charitable partners Raise funds for important causes around the globe through outbound calls Find new child sponsors, welcome new donors, renew event participants, and invite donors to give monthly Thank, connect, engage, and inspire donors through creative and personalized interactions Work collaboratively with our team to achieve fundraising goals and objectives Participate in training opportunities, lunch-and-learns, and workshops to continuously improve your skills and knowledge What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation package and a range of benefits, including: Permanent, full-time employment with consistent hours and growth opportunities $20.00 - $24.00 hourly, plus bonuses Engagement with world-class charitable organizations 100% paid training and health benefits (after 3 months) Training opportunities, lunch-and-learns, and workshops to support your professional development Team culture and activities, including ice breakers, community events, and social gatherings Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A minimum of 2 years' customer service and call centre experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for talking to people and building relationships Availability to work 1:00pm to 10:00pm Mon-Thu and 10:00am to 7:00pm Fri (EST), with occasional Saturday shifts (10:00am to 5:00pm) Technical savviness and self-reliance, with the ability to work independently in a home office setting A newer-version Windows PC or laptop computer (Apple or Mac are not supported) A professional work-from-home office space, with a high-speed cabled internet connection (min of 25 mbps down/5 mbps up) A USB headset and webcam Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
