Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience. Operate the register, process transactions accurately, and handle customer payments. Make purchase suggestions to customers, promoting our products and services effectively. Participate in our food program and other in-store initiatives as required. Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring it meets our high standards for cleanliness and organization. Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance, adhering to our scheduling requirements. Collaborate with the team to accomplish daily tasks and goals, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in friendly conversations with customers. A strong customer service mindset, with a proven ability to provide care and resolve issues effectively. Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system. Physical stamina to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as required. A high school diploma or equivalent; retail and customer service experience is a plus. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Prior experience as a sales associate, cashier, or in a similar customer-facing role. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to achieving daily goals.
