About the Role: Customer Service Representative We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Irvine, California. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our company, providing top-notch service to our customers through various communication channels. Our hybrid work solution offers the best of both worlds - you'll work from home on Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday, and spend Tuesday, Thursday, and alternate Fridays in our centrally located office. Key Responsibilities Process product complaints through queues and other communication channels in a timely and courteous manner. Maintain a positive experience for customers while investigating complaints and resolving issues. Accurately update databases with pertinent details and product information to ensure seamless issue resolution. Escalate issues based on severity to the appropriate levels as needed, demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Ensure confidentiality of caller and proprietary information by following established procedures for handling complaints. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education. At least 6 months of customer service experience, showcasing your ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, enabling you to navigate complex customer issues and prioritize tasks effectively. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities. Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, splitting your time between our Irvine office and remote work from home. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a similar customer service role, particularly in a hybrid or remote work environment. Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools, demonstrating your technical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
