Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing best-in-class customer service, engaging with customers for initial fuel delivery requests, order entry into our ERP system(s), and problem-solving on behalf of the customer. You'll be an integral part of our customer team, working collaboratively with various departments to resolve high-level operational issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Regularly collaborate with team members to support assigned customers, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution. Coordinate with various departments to resolve high-level operational issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provide backup support across all functions within the customer team to ensure continuity and minimize downtime. Share best practices and learning opportunities with peers across all Customer Experience teams, contributing to the growth and development of our customer service capabilities. Receive customer calls/emails, engaging with a warm, pleasant, and helpful attitude, and identifying customer needs to provide personalized support. Enter orders into our ERP system in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all customer requests are met and exceeded. Identify customer problems and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner, either directly or through escalation to other departments, maintaining open communication with the customer throughout the process. Manage and execute on various methods of communication and requests for delivery, including inventory-managed orders, third-party portals, customer websites, and carrier-managed requests, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of service. Order Entry and Management In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring all loads requested are entered successfully, and order numbers are provided to customers in a timely manner. You'll work closely with our logistics team to confirm carrier availability and communicate confirmation back to the customer. In the event that our logistics team is unable to secure a carrier, you'll escalate to other departments as needed for support and communicate the status of efforts throughout to ensure all parties are aware of plans and progress. Customer Service Excellence As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be expected to greet customers warmly and ascertain the problem or reason for their call. You'll resolve customer complaints by troubleshooting and/or engaging necessary internal departments or CRM, ensuring that customer communication is thorough and realistic expectations are communicated. You'll verify that customers are satisfied with resolutions or action plans, and ensure that all customer requests are completed, even after handoff or escalation to other departments. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma required. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a team environment. Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, with basic Excel and Outlook proficiency required. Enthusiastic and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make efficient decisions in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Experience working in a hybrid or remote work environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to inform customer service strategies. After completing our comprehensive training program (approximately 6 months), you'll be eligible to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
