Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and resolution-focused. Assist customers with medical insurance questions, providing clear, concise, and accurate information, and ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience, reflecting the high standards of blithequark's customer service ethos. Accurately document call content in real-time, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, which are crucial for continuous improvement and customer relationship management. Schedule and Training The schedule for this role includes working hours from Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Initially, you will undergo comprehensive training from Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, for approximately the first two weeks. This training period is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in your role. Please note that rotating holidays as needed are part of this position, ensuring that our customer service operations are always available to support our clients. Compensation and Benefits At blithequark, we believe in recognizing and rewarding our team members' hard work and dedication. The compensation package for this role includes a competitive hourly rate of $16.20. Additionally, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including Health Insurance, 401K, and Paid Time Off (PTO), which are designed to support your well-being and financial security. Essential Qualifications You must be a resident of New York State to be considered for this role, as it requires a deep understanding of local healthcare dynamics and regulations. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry, although training will be provided to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide solutions to their queries and concerns. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on resolving customer complaints in a fair and timely manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple calls and queries simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with medical insurance queries and healthcare-related customer service would be highly advantageous, although not essential. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and real-time documentation tools.
