Experienced Customer Service Representative for After-Hours Support – Remote Opportunity with Flexible Hours

About the Role This full-remote position offers the chance to work with a dynamic team based in the US, providing after-hours support to our clients. The role comes with a flexible schedule, consisting of a 3-day working week with 4-hour shifts per day, and Saturday and Sunday shifts of 12 hours per day. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and nurses during after-hours, ensuring that their queries are resolved promptly and efficiently. Your exceptional communication skills, compassion, and ability to work independently will be invaluable in this role. Key Responsibilities Answer all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions to client and nurse queries within the scope of after-hours support. Resolve client and nurse queries in a compassionate and confident manner, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. Provide timely responses to queries received through our texting platform, ensuring that all clients and nurses receive the support they need in a timely manner. Notify clients and replace caregiver callouts as necessary, ensuring that our services are delivered seamlessly and without interruption. Confirm caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start, ensuring that all caregivers are aware of their schedules and are prepared to provide exceptional care to our clients. Perform initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services, providing them with accurate and helpful information about our elderly home-based care and other services. Document all scenarios on our platform, as well as update caregiver schedules as needed, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. Complete non-urgent admin projects if time allows, contributing to the smooth operation of our after-hours team and the delivery of our services. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities. These include: Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A compassionate and confident approach to customer service, with the ability to empathize with clients and nurses and provide supportive solutions to their queries. 10+ years of work experience in customer service and office duties, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support to clients and stakeholders. Adaptability and flexibility regarding work hours, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Impeccable phone and computer skills, with the ability to navigate our platform and systems with ease. Staffing and/or healthcare experience, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by our clients and nurses. Experience working remotely and independently, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively in a remote work environment. A quiet and professional work-from-home environment, with reliable Wi-Fi and load-shedding backup to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
