Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling a wide range of inbound and outbound calls, including new sales and service-related inquiries. Your goal will be to ensure the highest level of customer service, quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all aspects of your work. Key responsibilities include: Handling incoming calls and utilizing a proactive sales approach to uncover additional sales and service opportunities, thereby contributing to the growth and retention of our customer base. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of our products and services, customer account and billing processes, new customer information, and various policies and procedures related to product delivery and service, to provide accurate and informed support to our clients. Presenting a professional, confident, and enthusiastic image to develop trusting relationships with all customers, and providing high levels of customer account management by properly setting up and maintaining account information and data. Processing and coordinating Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Accounts Payable functions and activities, as well as handling administrative, data entry, reporting, and reconciliation tasks related to asset and inventory controls and purchasing. Utilizing your excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and to provide timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data entry, and the ability to run and analyze reports, to efficiently manage customer interactions and perform administrative tasks. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, and to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Bilingualism, with the ability to communicate fluently in multiple languages, to support our diverse customer base and provide exceptional service to clients from varied linguistic backgrounds. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools, to efficiently manage customer interactions and analyze customer data.
