About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to all blithequark customers, including both internal and external customers, via phone, email, and online. Key Responsibilities Provide proactive customer service to internal and external customers via phone, email, and web inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer queries and concerns. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction and adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. Manage and process all customer orders and requests for various blithequark products and services, including class rings and jewelry, caps and gowns, diplomas, frames, announcements, and Greek accessories. Assist customers with online ordering and questions, providing guidance and support to ensure a seamless customer experience. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of blithequark products and be able to discuss products in an informed manner with customers, providing expert advice and recommendations as needed. Perform all other functions as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the customer service team and blithequark as a whole. Essential Qualifications 1-2 years of previous customer service experience with a proven record in a high-volume call center, demonstrating a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service. Good working knowledge of Microsoft products and familiarity with technology, including email and internet, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management via phone, email, and in-person. Team player with the ability to work with various personality types, demonstrating a positive and supportive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with others to achieve common goals. Strong technical knowledge of order entry and processing systems/orders, with the ability to accurately and efficiently process customer orders and requests. Experience managing excellent customer service relations via email, internet, and phone, with a strong focus on providing timely and effective resolution of customer queries and concerns. High School Degree or GED, with a College Degree or 2 years equivalent experience preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service, communication, and problem-solving. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Knowledge of blithequark products and services, with the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers. Experience working in a high-volume call center, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve customer queries and concerns. Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, during peak season, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
