Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure they find exactly what they need Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to our high standards of integrity and responsibility Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and ensuring a neat and presentable shopping environment Receiving merchandise, helping with unloading trucks, and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Performing other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment, highly preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents, required Physical ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height, and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, required Strong organizational and communication skills, required Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, required Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service principles Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a positive and supportive attitude Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.
