Key Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and resolves any issues that may arise during the transaction process. Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests trade-up and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience. Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records to ensure that our stores are always tidy and well-stocked. Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, to create an visually appealing shopping environment. Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, and complies with all company policies and procedures. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Demonstrating interpersonal habits such as greeting, eye contact, courtesy, and proactive help to ensure that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. Operations In addition to providing exceptional customer service, you will also be responsible for: Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Recommending items for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items. Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Implementing company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role. Knowledge of store systems and store equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
