Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment, interacting with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge. Key Responsibilities Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support. Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and service traits, to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommend items for sale, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Maintain a high level of product knowledge, keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, and construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance, and comply with all company policies and procedures. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate, and assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers. Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer to have prior work experience with blithequark. Skill and Competency Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and have a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, be adaptable and flexible, and have a strong attention to detail. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and easily around the store.
