Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will be responsible for providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient service to our customers, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience. You will also be expected to model and share customer service best practices with all team members, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. Key Responsibilities Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues in a fair and friendly manner. Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous and efficient checkout service, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Recommend items for sale to customers, suggest trade-up and/or companion items, and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively assist customers. Maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, including ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products. Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Ability to model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members. Basic math skills, including the ability to count money and operate a cash register. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer prior work experience with blithequark. Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
