Job Overview: Customer Service Representative As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible shopping experience. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with the selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. You will be the face of our company, and your exceptional service skills will be essential in building strong relationships with our customers and driving business success. Key Responsibilities: Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer interaction is friendly, helpful, and respectful. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring that all products are properly stored and displayed. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, using initiative and problem-solving skills to ensure that all products are available and easily accessible to customers. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any incidents or concerns to management in a timely and professional manner. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, store displays, and promotional activities. Position Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, and be willing to work a variety of shifts to support the needs of the business.
