Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that they have a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with the selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. You will be an integral part of our store team, working together to maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. Key Responsibilities Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping experience. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including helping with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, ensuring that the store is always fully stocked and visually appealing. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, ensuring that all transactions are efficient and secure. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any concerns or issues to management as necessary. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and supporting other team members as needed. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
