Key Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and recommendations, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure a positive shopping experience Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all transactions Maintain security of cash and protect company assets, adhering to all safety and security protocols Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise, ensuring that all products are properly displayed and easily accessible to customers Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards, ensuring that all inventory is accurately received and stored Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in achieving its goals Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred, providing a solid understanding of customer needs and expectations Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required, providing a positive and supportive experience for all customers Strong organizational and communication skills are required, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required, demonstrating the ability to think critically and make sound judgments Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing setting Knowledge of inventory management and control, providing a solid understanding of inventory processes and procedures Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and teamwork Strong time management and prioritization skills, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
