You'll be responsible for greeting customers, assisting them with product selection, completing transactions, and answering questions about our store and merchandise. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you a valuable asset to our team. **Key Responsibilities** • **Customer Engagement**: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a positive and approachable manner. • **Store Maintenance**: Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that meets our high standards of quality and safety. • **Merchandise Management**: Help with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organize merchandise, and transport merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. • **Stocking and Recovery**: Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store to ensure that products are always available for customers. • **Cash Handling**: Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system. • **Safety and Security**: Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment. • **Additional Duties**: Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation. **Requirements** • **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. • **Experience**: Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred. • **Physical Requirements**: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height.
