We're committed to providing exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting the local communities we serve. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied. * Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting it from the stockroom to the sales floor. * Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring accurate inventory levels and a seamless shopping experience. * Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using our POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, preventing potential issues and addressing any concerns promptly. * Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation. **Position Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. * Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, but not required. * The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the capacity to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. * A flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive shopping experience. * Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity. * Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and respectful manner. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced retail environment. * Job knowledge and relationship management skills, with the ability to understand and apply retail operational procedures, maintain accurate records, and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
