If you're a customer-centric individual with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Handle high-volume phone traffic for various departments within Blithequark, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues. * Provide exceptional support to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products and services. * Process payments, inquiries, and service requests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a seamless customer experience. * Assist with interdepartmental cash and reporting/tracking functions, maintaining accurate records and updating customer information as needed. * Process internal and external customer requests, including utility account connects, disconnects, and transfers, as well as billing, rate, and payment arrangements. * Receive, maintain, and account for monies for utilities, providing payment receipts and ensuring compliance with Blithequark's internal cash handling policies. * Account for and balance cash drawer daily, prepare daily deposits for the bank, and ensure adherence to Blithequark's cash handling policies. * Process commercial account set-ups, validate Tax IDs, and explain available solid waste services, calculate associated costs, and complete service contracts. * Generate and process solid waste work orders, maintain and file contracts in an organized manner, and process water leak adjustment and leak check requests. * Assist with projects and perform back-office assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. * Serve as a backup to Customer Service Rep II in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of support. **Essential Qualifications** * High School diploma or equivalent * One (1) year of customer service experience * Six (6) months of cash handling experience * Any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, as well as Blithequark's policies and procedures * Skill in identifying moderate problems and implementing solutions * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems * Excellent interpersonal relationships, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced environment **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues * Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and building long-term relationships **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a valued member of the Blithequark team, you'll have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the organization * Collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions to the team **Work Environment and Company Culture** Blithequark is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
