Job Overview As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch customer service, taking orders, assembling orders, delivering food to customers, cleaning the dining room, and engaging with customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities Taking orders in the drive-thru and processing payments efficiently Assembling orders and delivering food to customers in a timely and friendly manner Cleaning the dining room, tables, floors, and other areas of the restaurant to maintain a clean and welcoming environment Providing excellent verbal and written communication to customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner Working effectively as part of a team, assisting other team members in completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service Following proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety Multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demands and expectations Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Must be 16 years of age or older Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds Ability to kneel, bend, twist or stoop, ascend or descend stairs, and reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time and work effectively in a team environment Ability to provide quick and friendly service to customers, working together as a team to ensure continuity of service Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, retail, or the food industry Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting and assisting other team members as needed Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, maintaining a positive and flexible attitude Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
