We are proud to be a part of a global community that shares our values and passion for making a difference. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, friendly, and efficient * Registering sales on assigned cash sign-in, handling cash, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them, offering help with services and products, and resolving their concerns and inquiries * Fashioning and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver an exclusive and exceptional customer experience * Recommending products for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or partner products * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash sign-in, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested * Maintaining counters and shelves in a smooth and nicely merchandised state, taking inventory, and maintaining data * Implementing employer asset safety measures to prevent and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations concerning regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) * Constructing and continuing presentations, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays * Assisting with the separation of food products (e.g., raw food from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by guidelines/strategies * Having a working understanding of store systems and store policies * Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital passport image services, poster print, and creative device services * Assisting with outside and indoor maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store environment * Complying with all company regulations and policies; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers * Completing special assignments and other duties as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires a willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours **Preferred Qualifications** * Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment * Choose to have previous work experience with blithequark * Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires a willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and processing transactions * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems and policies **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
