Key Responsibilities Greet and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers, responding to their requests and concerns in a timely and courteous manner. Utilize the GREAT customer service and customer recovery model to ensure customer engagement and loyalty. Communicate effectively with the management team regarding customer requests and concerns, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different methods of payment, maintaining proper cash levels and ensuring accurate transactions. Comply with federal and state laws by requesting personal identification from customers purchasing restricted products, such as tobacco and/or alcohol. Stock and refill products within the store, including the core register area, cold express cases, bakery, and grocery aisles, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and stocked. Prepare made-to-order food and beverages according to recipe or customer specifications, ensuring that all products are of high quality and meet our standards. Maintain a clean and safe store environment, completing tasks such as cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. Essential Qualifications Ability to work well individually and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn and demonstrate all blithequark Safety and Quality Assurance processes and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and associates. Ability to work overtime as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of our customers and the business. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to ensure that all responsibilities are completed to a high standard. Must be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, and wear slip-resistant shoes at all times. Must be able to perform physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift, including standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, and grasping firmly, and frequently throughout a shift, including reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, work safely with equipment that can create and hold very high temperatures, and tolerate exposure to cleaning products. Preferred Qualifications Pursuit of or high school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Prior food service and/or customer service experience, preferred.
