About the Role: Customer Service Associate As a Customer Service Associate (CSA) at blithequark, you'll be the friendly face that puts the wow in our customer interactions. You'll greet and serve our customers, prepare food items, operate the cash register, and ensure that our stores are well-stocked and clean. You'll be the embodiment of our brand values, and your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences will make every day a little brighter for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously, providing a personalized and memorable experience that exceeds their expectations. Prepare food items such as breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas, while maintaining a clean and organized coffee station. Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every transaction. Ensure our stores are well-stocked and that our shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting, creating an appealing and convenient shopping environment for our customers. Help keep our stores clean and safe by following all established policies, procedures, and guidelines, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store. Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more, ensuring that our stores are always clean and well-maintained. Qualifications and Skills: To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro. You'll need to be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, and enjoy working in a team environment. If you're a team player, a day-brightener, and a go-getter, we want to hear from you! Essential Qualifications: Great communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. Must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation, ensuring that you can get to work safely and on time. Enjoys working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business success. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service at all times. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register, with accuracy and efficiency in every transaction. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time, maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout your shift. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits: We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 - $18.75, commensurate with position, experience, and location. You'll also receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.
