Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service and Support Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a critical member of our Supply Center, you will be responsible for delivering superior customer service, responding to customer needs in a timely and accurate manner, and developing a high level of product knowledge. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, will enable you to effectively field and resolve customer issues, provide quotes, process orders, and schedule product deliveries. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs thoroughly and in a timely manner with accuracy and detail Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively support customers Field and resolve customer issues and questions in a professional and courteous manner Perform inside sales duties as needed, utilizing consultative selling skills to establish, develop, and service new customer accounts Provide quotes to customers, process customer orders, and schedule product deliveries, ensuring seamless communication with customers Order inventory for replenishment, maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient inventory management Operate in a safe manner, adhering to company safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment Support the Supply Center Team in attaining overall goals and objectives, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment Accurately enter orders, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to company procedures Follow and execute additional direction given by the Branch Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities Perform other duties as necessary, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the team Essential Qualifications Ability to multi-task and make business decisions in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment Composed under pressure, with excellent time management and organizational skills Results-driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with excellent listening skills Ability to learn and embrace new technology, with a willingness to adapt to changing systems and processes Preferred Qualifications College degree preferred, with a focus on business, marketing, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a retail/wholesale environment, with demonstrated success working with customers and providing exceptional service Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience, with proficiency in using technology to support customer service and sales activities General knowledge of the building industry, with a understanding of exterior building products and their applications Work Environment and Culture At blithequark, we are committed to creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment, where ideas are shared, and learning is encouraged.
