About the Role We are looking for a part-time Customer Service and Hospitality Manager to join our team, working approximately 15 hours per week, from 5pm-10pm CST on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As a key member of our Hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our guests, coordinating operational needs with our staff, and overseeing various tasks related to our properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a part-time role with opportunities for growth and development. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark guests, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience from booking to checkout Conduct guest screening to ensure safety and security, complying with blithequark and property partner requirements Manage all guest reservations, including booking suggestions, alterations, and cancellations Utilize our digital communication systems to manage guest communications, including messages, emails, calls, and texts Respond to guest concerns in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, resolving issues and negotiating solutions to ensure guest satisfaction Troubleshoot maintenance and technology issues, lockouts, and other guest issues, coordinating with our Field Team and vendors as needed Schedule and monitor repairs and maintenance needs, coordinating with guests, blithequark staff, property partners, vendors, and other stakeholders Work closely with our Field Team to schedule turnovers and other tasks, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality guest experiences Oversee various other tasks, including serving as a point of contact for property partner communications, managing listing marketing, analyzing guest reviews, and managing social media and periodic public relations activities Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences College diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, hospitality, or a related field Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication Reliable smartphone, computer, and high-speed wifi connection, with the ability to respond to messages in 5 minutes or less Ability to pass a background check, with a clean record and a commitment to safety and security 2-3 professional references from past or current supervisors, with a strong reputation for exceptional customer service and hospitality Preferred Qualifications Experience working in short-term rentals, hospitality, or a related field, with a deep understanding of the industry and its unique challenges Proficiency in spreadsheets, word documents, and similar operational software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders Positive attitude and exceptional customer service presence, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills and competencies, including: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication Proficiency in modern technologies, including digital communication systems, spreadsheets, and word documents Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a strong focus on flexibility and resilience Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
