Key Responsibilities Offer friendly support to clients and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers Work in a collaborative spirit to ensure the success of our organization Provide amazing client support to individuals wanting to use our services, including handling their needs and resolving any issues they may have Handle all aspects of customer service, including checking in clients, handling baggage and freight, and resolving related complaints and issues Greet and interact with clients in a courteous and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment Answer phone calls to provide information to clients, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist on a case-by-case basis Handle transactions required to board the aircraft in a convenient and efficient manner Manage upset clients due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve such issues quickly and within guidelines laid out by the organization Provide current and accurate information to clients and other guests to the airport, including admission, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answering general questions Complete forms and reports as required by the organization Write irregularity and complaint reports as required Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to type and use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job, and be able to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and understand customer service techniques, rules, and regulations. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for individuals who are team players, able to meet the public, and work under stressful conditions. You should be able to complete our customer service specialist training program with an 80% or greater average and a probationary period. You should also be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be able to multitask. You should be able to communicate effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also be able to adapt to changing situations and be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
