Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent to join our team in La Porte City, IA. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be part of a team reporting to a Supervisor, Customer Experience, starting in November 2023. You will be responsible for responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls, building customer relationships, and resolving customers' challenges using all resources for account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management. Key Responsibilities Build customer relationships by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls Work with customers and Sales team members daily in a team-based environment Use a computer and multiple computer programs with periods of sitting up to 8 hours per day Resolve customers' challenges by using all resources for account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply credit, and implement return procedures Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of customer service experience Ability to commute to our facility from your home A secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs at once Stable internet with ability to provide proof of internet speeds greater than 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download and ping less than 80 milliseconds Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a remote or hybrid work environment Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with customers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team-based environment and collaborate with others Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
