As a Freight Specialist, you will be the face of blithequark's cargo operations, interacting directly with clients in person and over the phone. This is an entry-level customer service position, and our experienced managers will provide mentorship to help you grow and advance your career. Your key responsibilities will include: Booking and managing freight shipments in accordance with operational requirements Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone and in-person interactions Working a variety of shifts, including early morning to late evening, depending on the station's flight schedule Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless cargo operations and resolve any issues that may arise Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in cargo operations and customer service Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree and excellent communication and customer service skills. You should be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service or cargo operations is an asset, but not required.
