General Responsibilities The Customer Operations Specialist (COS) is responsible for ensuring that blithequark consistently meets our customers' needs. As a COS, you will serve as a critical liaison between our operations team and our customers, communicating effectively to ensure service delivery and the highest level of satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting in the operation of the blithequark Operations Desk, serving as critical command and control and primary liaison between pilots and our valued customers. Inputting, tracking, and analyzing data pertaining to reports received from pilots and subsequent customer interaction. Directly communicating with customers, leaving a lasting positive impression for blithequark. Generating customer reports indicating services provided and results of inspections. Solidifying hard data from a number of vague clues. Additional Responsibilities In addition to your core responsibilities, you may also be involved in: Assisting with the generation of the daily flying schedule and associated mission products using blithequark's proprietary software, Garmin products, and Google Earth. Assisting in coordination with maintenance to understand aircraft availability and its impact on flight operations. Communicating expectations of performance to pilots prior to mission execution. Assisting with general projects relating to the overall business as a critical member of a very small management team. Coordinating with the President to onboard new customers and integrate requested work with existing operations. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A customer service orientation with an interest in operations. Excellent communication skills, especially verbal. To be self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite as well as Google Earth. Full weekend availability, with a 5-day work week. Essential Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, the ideal candidate will have: A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A strong understanding of operations and logistics. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an operations or logistics environment. Experience working with proprietary software, Garmin products, and Google Earth. A strong understanding of the oil and gas industry. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment.
