Our Customer Experience Design team is at the forefront of this effort, working tirelessly to design and deliver best-in-class products, services, and experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers and employees. **Job Overview** As a Customer Experience Design Co-Op, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of exceptional customer experiences across various areas of our business. You will work closely with our experienced team members to conduct market and competitor research, analyze data, develop business cases, and create presentations to support executive communications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer experience design, develop your skills in research analysis, project coordination, and communication, and contribute to the success of our organization. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities for improvement * Analyze data to inform business decisions and develop business cases to support executive communications * Develop presentations to communicate ideas and recommendations to leaders * Support the design and development of products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers and employees * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across projects * Conduct research and gather feedback from customers and employees to inform design decisions * Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in customer experience design **Areas of Support** You will have the opportunity to support one of the following areas within our Customer Experience Design organization: * The Service Recovery Team, which focuses on improving the employee and customer experience by enabling our frontline teams to deliver exceptional service * The Onboard Brand Experience Team, which leads the design and development of interior products and amenities for our aircraft * The Uniform Brand Experience Team, which manages the design, development, and distribution of Delta's frontline employee uniforms * The Inflight Entertainment Wi-Fi Team, which leads the onboarding of new Wi-Fi providers and next-generation product innovation design and development * The Inflight Entertainment Delta Sync Seatback Team, which creates and implements Delta's future IFE strategy and product roadmap **What You Need to Succeed** To be successful in this role, you will need: * To be available for three alternating semesters * To be enrolled in an accredited college or university during the program duration * Experience in research analysis, deck building/presentations, project coordination, and communications * Demonstrated organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize and pivot for unexpected deliverables or needs * Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills * Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel; knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience is preferred * Willingness/ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills * Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data * Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles * Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency * Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States **What Will Give You a Competitive Edge** To take your skills to the next level, you will need: * Ability to tackle multiple projects at once, adhering to different timelines and working with many cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and consistency within each project * Ability to develop effective presentations that help tell a story and present an idea/recommendation to leaders in an efficient and effective manner * Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution to enable innovation and progress on difficult-to-solve challenges **Additional Best Practices** In this role, you will: * Be able to listen and learn from people with many different perspectives * Be able to handle shifting priorities that come from the business needs * Be high performing and interested in driving for results * Be open to mentoring and learning as a method to grow and improve **Co-op Program Outline** Our Co-op program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and skills development in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will spend three alternating semesters working full-time at blithequark and enrolled in courses at your university.
