Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience Chatroom Operator to join our Conversion Improvement team, where you will play a vital role in handling millions of automated humanized conversations for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reading consumer responses, responding contextually, and categorizing them appropriately, ensuring that our natural language processor meets the highest industry standards of excellence. This role requires a unique blend of customer service expertise, quick thinking, and empathy, as you will be interacting with consumers in real-time, providing thoughtful, articulate, and relevant guidance tailored to their specific needs. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound messages via our chat room in less than 30 seconds, utilizing point-and-click frequently asked questions and canned responses to address consumer queries and concerns. Create ad-hoc responses that are relevant, appropriate, and compliant with industry regulations and verticals, such as automobile insurance, health insurance, and prescription drug plans. Escalate conversations to leadership when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution and exceptional customer experiences. Document frequently asked questions to inform continual improvement and add relevancy to canned responses, enhancing our natural language model and driving conversational excellence. Maintain a high level of accuracy (98% or above) in response handling, with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Achieve a Replies per Hour rate of 60 replies per hour worked, demonstrating efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment. Participate in other projects as assigned, contributing to the growth and development of our team and company. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience in a customer service chatroom environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and driving conversational excellence. Proficiency in writing responses to consumers in real-time, chat-based environments, with a focus on grammar, spelling, and logic. Familiarity with verticals such as automobile insurance, health insurance, and prescription drug plans, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance. Professionalism in all interactions, with a commitment to exceptional attention to detail, high standards of excellence, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Advanced typing skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a computer-based environment, and reliable, strong internet/WiFi connectivity. Exceptional verbal, communication, and written skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and respond to consumer queries in a clear, concise manner. A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree being a plus, and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
