Job Overview As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be assigned to one of our OCC teams, where you will work closely with aviation experts to utilize data and analytics to solve operational business challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include: Supporting the Load Control Center (LCC) in ensuring aircraft weight and balance, fuel delivery, and compliance with manufacturer and company specifications Collaborating with the Fuel Strategy team to develop strategies for determining safe and conservative fuel loads, improving aircraft routing, and enhancing payload forecasting Working with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business outcomes Developing and maintaining applications and efficiencies to reduce workload for the frontline team, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Participating in brainstorming sessions with colleagues, influencing the skill of others, and maintaining a team-first mentality with the outcome of your team as the top priority Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be expected to: Work a Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM schedule in Atlanta, GA, for at least three alternating semesters Be enrolled with an educational institution throughout the term of the co-op program Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, take calculated risks, and learn from each experience Maintain a strong focus on safety and security, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others Embrace diversity, thinking, and styles, fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Be a college student pursuing a four-year degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or a similar 4-year degree program Have a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency Be at least 18 years old and have authorization to work in the US Possess strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge: Familiarity or experience with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of airline operations, scheduling, and planning A history of seeking leadership positions, including student and community associations A passion for a future career in the airline industry and serving blithequark's customers Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
