Key Responsibilities Ensure seamless order processing by accurately and efficiently entering customer orders into our SAP system, meeting departmental scorecards and metrics. Resolve customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, utilizing multiple customer support tools, including SAP and business unit contacts as needed. Establish and maintain world-class customer relationships by developing rapport, actively listening, and providing consultative support and recommendations to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identify opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by suggesting alternatives to out-of-stock items, informing customers of available deals, and keeping information confidential. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues, provide feedback, and continuously improve our customer care processes. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in academic achievement. Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies. No prior experience is required; however, a results-oriented mindset, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and customer service experience are highly desirable. The ability to multi-task, work independently, and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to utilize diplomacy and discretion in customer interactions. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly preferred: A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as customer service, communications, or business, or equivalent training and work experience. 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the consumer products or distribution industry. Experience working with SAP or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Physical Requirements This role requires: Regularly sitting, standing, talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone. The ability to work in a home office setting with minimal distractions, maintaining a professional and organized workspace.
