About the Role We're looking for a Contract Customer Service Representative to engage with arenaflex members, helping them find the right healthcare for their needs, understand how our program works, and assist them in getting their eligible claims paid. As a member of our team, you'll be the voice of arenaflex, providing exceptional support via phone, chat, and email. Key Responsibilities Deliver amazing service to our members via phone, chat, and email, offering education and guidance to help them understand and utilize their benefit and find the right provider for their needs Follow documented best practices for handling member inquiries and suggest process improvements as you identify them Manage and organize your workload using arenaflex's platform and tools, including Zendesk and G Suite Triage and escalate complex and urgent member care needs Retain detail-oriented working knowledge of employer health benefits and insurance Relay member feedback to leadership teams to improve arenaflex's solution Candidate Profile To succeed in this role, you'll need: A passion for helping people solve their problems with the ability to think creatively and empathetically Experience working in a customer-facing environment with demonstrated experience staying calm under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills A high level of process-orientation, digital organization, and resourcefulness A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment, comfortable with some ambiguity A desire to be part of our mission to improve the healthcare system Enthusiasm for a role with room for growth A quiet and distraction-free work environment with a reliable internet connection (ability to hardwire if needed strongly preferred) A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required Essential Qualifications In addition to the above, you'll need: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in the healthcare industry Knowledge of health insurance and benefits Experience with customer service software and tools Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
