Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough assessments via chat/text to evaluate suicide risk and identify community resources Providing follow-up calls for individuals assessed as moderate to high risk for suicide, ensuring they receive the necessary support and care Maintaining compliance with ethical and clinical standards as per accreditation requirements, upholding the highest level of professionalism and integrity Participating actively in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and share knowledge with colleagues Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification Six months to one year of related crisis experience preferred, although we welcome talented individuals from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey empathy and support through written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods Demonstrated high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette, with a strong focus on providing compassionate care Knowledge of suicide assessments and crisis intervention techniques, with a commitment to staying updated on best practices Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you may have: Experience in crisis intervention or mental health support roles, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with these positions A strong passion for delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in crisis, with a commitment to making a positive impact in your community Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are dedicated to supporting the professional growth and development of our team members.
