Your primary duties will include: Key Responsibilities: Monitoring and moderating chat conversations to ensure compliance with arenaflex's community guidelines and Discord server rules. Deleting messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to hate speech, harassment, and spam. Banning users who repeatedly disregard our community guidelines, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all members. Muting users who have violated our community standards, providing a temporary measure to prevent further disruptions. Investigating reports from users regarding potential rule violations, making informed decisions to address the issue and maintain a positive community atmosphere. Collaborating with the arenaflex team to develop and refine community guidelines, ensuring they align with our values and mission. Providing excellent customer service, responding to user inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications and Requirements: To succeed as a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll need: Be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Be proficient in Discord and familiar with its features and functionality. Have a strong understanding of online community management principles and best practices. Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances. Be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate your needs. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous: Experience as a moderator or administrator in online communities, forums, or social media platforms. Knowledge of community management software, such as Discord bots or plugins. Experience with conflict resolution and mediation techniques. Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with users from diverse backgrounds.
