Job Summary We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Call Center Representative to join our team. As a Call Center Representative, you'll be responsible for handling patient enrollment, answering high-volume customer calls, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Utilize Walgreens' solution information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing medication data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Settle all information entry-related exceptions. Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Settle external exceptions by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual account requirements. Make phone calls to support plans and others to obtain data, gain supersede endorsement, or otherwise settle the external exceptions. Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations. Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Basic computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, or accessing data online. Basic web search skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Transitional-level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing files. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role: At least one year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment. At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a certification/enrollment by state as recognized by the state Board of Pharmacy or a widely recognized certification organization. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessing customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing reports. Familiarity with Spanish and English. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using computer software and systems, including Walgreens' solution information entry methods and rules. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
