Job Summary As a Business Development Manager with Delta Getaways, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with travel agency accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with our Deals Tasks, Advertising, Organization Promoting, and Client Commitment Center teams to achieve maximum revenue and profitability. Key Responsibilities Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with assigned travel agency accounts, promoting and selling Delta Getaways products and services. Identify, prospect, evaluate, and initiate new travel agency business opportunities to support organizational objectives. Conduct sales calls with office contacts to deliver Delta Getaways product and service updates, discuss sales-related opportunities, and review account performance. Propose and implement account association arrangements, ensuring mutual benefit and profitability for Delta Getaways. Develop and deliver strategic business development plans, including marketing and co-op advertising plans for key accounts. Implement time and territory management plans for assigned accounts. Assess clients' business needs, evaluate performance, and develop strategic proposals for growth. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Two years of travel industry sales experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong numerical capability and attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of Delta Getaways programs, policies, and procedures. Skilled in defining issues, gathering data, and reaching valid conclusions. Ability to lead multiple projects and deliver results simultaneously. Proficient in communication with management, staff, and clients.
