Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and bilingual Customer Support Online Chat Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and mission-driven startup, utilizing your language skills in English and either Spanish or Portuguese to support our users worldwide. The position is for 30-40 hours a week over a 4-month contract, with the potential for renewal based on performance. Fluency in additional languages such as Polish, German, French, Italian, or Tagalog is considered a significant plus. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer support through live chat messages on our Intercom platform, addressing user inquiries, resolving issues, and offering information in both English and the chosen secondary language. Collect and relay valuable customer feedback to the blithequark team, contributing to the improvement of our products and services. Identify potential issues and collaborate with our Development team to ensure timely and effective resolutions. Support various Customer Support projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of our startup. Requirements and Qualifications To excel in this role, you should have: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Support or a related field, with a proven track record of providing excellent service and resolving customer issues efficiently. Strong fluency in English, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese. Excellent communication skills in both languages are essential for success in this position. Familiarity with software tools such as Intercom, Stripe, Retool, Notion, Slack, Braintree, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Zendesk is highly desirable. While coding knowledge is not required, being technically savvy is crucial for supporting our users effectively. A reliably strong internet connection (at least 10 MB/s) and a computer capable of connecting to the web without issues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed to ensure comprehensive support for our global user base.
