Job Overview: Bilingual Customer Service Representative We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bilingual Customer Service Representative who is fluent in Mandarin and English. As a key member of our customer service team, you will engage with our diverse customer base, resolving complex challenges, managing disputes, and ensuring that every customer interaction is handled with care and professionalism. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of our business. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to our buyers and sellers through various channels, including chat, email, phone, and social media. Address and resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all issues are handled with empathy and understanding. Mediate disputes between buyers and sellers, finding solutions that satisfy both parties and reflect the values of blithequark. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and expert departments, to improve the overall customer experience and contribute to the growth of our platform. Offer feedback and insights on customer interactions to help improve our services and processes. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: Professional speaking and writing skills in Mandarin and English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a customer service environment, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues and providing excellent customer support. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to approach problems with a logical and methodical mindset. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines. Availability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays, as required. A willingness to commute to our Lisbon office and work in the office at least 2 days per week. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a multicultural environment, with a deep understanding of the nuances of different cultures and languages. Knowledge of the collectibles or online marketplace industry, with a passion for unique and special objects. Previous experience with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and helpdesk tools. A certification in customer service or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer support.
