Job Overview As a Bilingual Call Center Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers. You will be responsible for addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries, resolving patient issues, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of all requests. This is a remote work opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls utilizing a multi-line telephone system and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all requests by taking appropriate action, such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate staff. Maintain thorough records by documenting discussions, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries. Resolve patient issues through independent problem-solving and with a goal of first-call resolution. Foster teamwork and partnerships with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and improve customer experience. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform job duties. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak). Must have a reliable cell phone and a minimum internet speed of 10mb down and 1mb up (no satellite internet is allowed). Experience in a highly customer service-oriented environment. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm and helpful even when dealing with upset customers. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: Experience in a medical office setting utilizing a computer-based practice management software system. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to handle high call volume and multi-task while providing an exceptional customer experience. Experience with E-Clinical Works or other electronic medical records systems, such as Epic, Athena Health, or NextGen. Experience with Avaya telephony platform. Knowledge of and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
