Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for item regions and setting and fulfilling time constraints for outer and inside confronting apparatuses, such as disconnected assessment instruments for pre-creation calculations. As an Individual Contributor (IC), you will also be liable for assisting with setting the guide for algorithmic work — not just for how to move toward item demands for new suggestion highlights, but for assisting with driving larger organization targets in the space of personalization and content proposal. Key Responsibilities Perform deep dive analysis on application interactions and client profiles as they interact with calculation output to drive upgrades in key personalization metrics Develop innovative AI products to be used for new creation features or downstream by production algorithms Maintain existing and establish new algorithm development, testing, and deployment guidelines Collaborate with product and business partners to identify and define new personalization opportunities and improve how we do data collection, experimentation, and analysis Assist with meeting KPIs for item regions and set and fulfill time constraints for outer and inside confronting apparatuses Set the guide for algorithmic work and drive larger organization targets in the space of personalization and content proposal Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Years of experience developing AI models and performing data analysis with Python or R Experience writing production-level, flexible code (e.g., Python, Scala) Years of experience developing algorithms for deployment to production systems In-depth understanding of current AI (e.g., deep learning techniques), models, and their mathematical underpinnings In-depth understanding of the latest in natural language processing techniques and contextualized word embedding models Experience deploying and maintaining pipelines (AWS, Docker, Airflow) and designing large data solutions using technologies like Databricks, S3, and Spark Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, etc. Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis) Ability to gauge the complexity of AI issues and an willingness to implement straightforward strategies for fast, effective solutions as fitting Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to explain how models are used and algorithms act to both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: MS or PhD in statistics, mathematics, computer science, sociology, or related quantitative field Production experience with developing content recommendation algorithms at scale Production experience with graph-based models (e.g., node2vec) Experience building and deploying full-stack ML pipelines: data extraction, data mining, model training, feature improvement, testing, and deployment Experience with graph-based data workflows like Apache Airflow Experience designing large data solutions using technologies like EMR, S3, Spark, Databricks Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and principles of data governance Experience loading and querying cloud-hosted databases like Snowflake Experience with automated deployment, AWS infrastructure, Docker or similar containers Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Scala, or R Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Matplotlib Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Career Growth Opportunities At Walt Disney World Parks And Resorts, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
