Job Summary As an Apple Pay Integration Expert, you will play a critical role in implementing and managing Apple Pay integration, specifically handling JWT generation and Apple Pay Merchant Identity Certificates. You will be responsible for resolving complex issues related to certificate management, JWT generation, and error troubleshooting. Your expertise will enable us to provide seamless and secure payment experiences for our customers. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a Google Cloud Function to generate a signed JWT using RS256 for Apple Pay integration. Configure and manage Apple Pay Merchant Identity Certificates, including importing certificates into Keychain Access or securely handling private key and certificate files in PEM format. Ensure correct formatting of the JWT header with the Key ID (kid) for Apple Pay. Troubleshoot and resolve certificate import errors (-25294) and ensure proper handling of private keys and certificates to sign the JWT. Collaborate with our development team to integrate the JWT generation function with Make.com. Provide expert guidance on Apple Pay integration, JWT generation, and certificate management best practices. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Experience with Apple Pay Merchant Identity Certificates and JWT signing : You should have hands-on experience with Apple Pay integration, specifically handling Merchant Identity Certificates and generating JWTs. Familiarity with Google Cloud Functions (Node.js environment) : You should be proficient in designing and implementing Google Cloud Functions using Node.js. Experience handling PEM format certificates and private keys : You should be comfortable working with PEM format certificates and private keys. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve certificate import errors (Keychain Access, OpenSSL) : You should have expertise in troubleshooting and resolving certificate import errors using Keychain Access and OpenSSL. Knowledge of Apple's Developer Portal and certificate management : You should be familiar with Apple's Developer Portal and have experience managing certificates. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred: Experience with Make.com integration. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of security best practices for payment systems.
