Job Overview As a Graduate Construction Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multiple real estate development and refit projects, ranging in value from £100,000 to £100m. Working closely with our project delivery leads, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Set up and develop projects from RIBA Stage 1 through to Stage 4, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery Establish and manage contracts and appointments from concept stage to completion, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and suppliers Develop and manage project budgets from concept to completion, identifying areas for cost savings and optimizing resource allocation Review and coordinate project documentation received from contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements Assist in the development of project management documents, such as project schedules, specifications, and regular reporting, to ensure effective project monitoring and control Coordinate project risk assessments and registers by liaising with all internal company departments and stakeholders, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will require: A recognized qualification in a relevant field of study, such as construction management, property management, or estates management Good Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to write reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders Comfortable managing multiple tasks, including emergent issues that may arise on a daily basis, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines An interest and/or technical understanding of construction, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills would be advantageous: Previous experience in a construction or property management role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget Knowledge of project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Asana Experience of working with contractors and suppliers, with strong negotiation and communication skills A professional certification, such as PRINCE2 or APMP, or a willingness to work towards achieving this Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At AEG, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
