About the Role As an Airport Agent – Ramp and Customer Service at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft and providing exceptional customer service to our passengers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for guiding and directing incoming and outgoing aircraft, loading and unloading baggage and cargo, and collaborating with our internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure. Key Responsibilities Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and on-time arrival and departure Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials, some of which may weigh up to 75 lbs Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to support aircraft operations Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure Clean the interior of the aircraft, clean and service aircraft lavatories as required Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that align with our values and mission. The following are the minimum requirements for the position: Minimum age: 18 High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs Must be willing and able to work outside in variable weather conditions Must enjoy working under deadlines, working a physical job outdoors, and have an interest in the airline industry Able to communicate in a clear, polite, and friendly manner Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and experience are highly desirable: Previous experience in an airline or aviation environment Knowledge of aircraft operations and safety procedures Experience working in a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service to passengers Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
