Job Synopsis The Agency Sales Manager is a knowledgeable authority for corporate travel management services at arenaflex. As a singular advocate, this role exercises significant judgment to make decisions that drive consistent revenue, utilizing aspects of our organization and corporate client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, with a focus on corporate travel management. Key Responsibilities Act as an informed authority for Travel Management Company (TMC) business for arenaflex, providing expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external clients. Build key business relationships with TMC accounts focused on business travel value propositions for arenaflex, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our market share. With minimal direction from authority, exercise extensive judgment to manage the pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements, aiming to achieve the highest possible market share and yield in individual markets. Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop contract-official agreements that meet the needs of arenaflex and our clients. Analyze revenue, margins, and contract performance to ensure objective compliance and profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize results. Develop marketing-related promotions to support sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business loyalty teams to create targeted campaigns that drive engagement and conversion. Manage the acquisition of TMC agency accounts through sales calls, negotiating agreements, and coordinating with pricing teams to ensure seamless execution and maximum revenue potential. Plan business growth and lead development of other agency accounts through collaboration with revenue management teams, ensuring that exceptional entries are filed accordingly and driving expected revenue per the specifications of the agreement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and develop a strategy to ensure the organization is positioned suitably in the market, staying ahead of the competition and capitalizing on emerging opportunities. Monitor revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum revenues and sales objectives are achieved, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results and drive business growth. Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Essential Qualifications 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail service environment or related area, preferably in the corporate travel management industry. Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree, demonstrating a strong foundation in business, marketing, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong academic record and a passion for learning and professional development. Must be authorized to work in the U.S., with a valid work visa or citizenship, and a willingness to relocate or travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications Prior airline experience, with a deep understanding of the corporate travel management industry and the needs of business travelers. Prior exposure to and utilization of travel industry data reporting sources like Curve and Crystal, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce, with experience using sales automation and customer relationship management software to drive sales growth and customer engagement. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the organization, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
