**Experienced After-Hours Customer Service Representative – Elderly Home Based Care and Support**

As an After-Hours Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and caregivers outside of regular business hours. With a 3-day working week of 4-hour shifts per day and a Saturday and Sunday shift of 12 hours per day, you will have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life while making a real difference in the lives of our clients. **About blithequark** blithequark is a US-based company that is dedicated to providing high-quality elderly home based care and support services to individuals in need. Our team of compassionate and dedicated professionals is committed to delivering exceptional support and care to our clients, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our team. **Responsibilities** As an After-Hours Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: * Answering all incoming calls and resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours * Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform * Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary * Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start * Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services * Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed * Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: * **Fluent English**: You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken * **Compassionate and confident**: You must be able to provide exceptional support and care to our clients, and be confident in your ability to handle challenging situations * **Responsible and reliable**: You must be able to work independently and be responsible for your own work, with a strong sense of reliability and accountability * **10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties**: You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in customer service and office duties, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices * **Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours**: You must be able to adapt to changing work schedules and be flexible regarding work hours * **Impeccable phone and computer skills**: You must have excellent phone and computer skills, with the ability to navigate our platform and systems with ease * **Staffing and/or health care experience**: You must have experience in staffing and/or health care, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges * **Experience working remotely and independently to the USA**: You must have experience working remotely and independently to the USA, with a strong understanding of the time zones and cultural differences * **Quiet and professional work-from-home environment**: You must be able to work from a quiet and professional home environment, with a reliable internet connection and a backup plan for load-shedding **Skills and Competencies** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support and care to our clients * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate our platform and systems with ease **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
