As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including cash accounting, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Research and process incoming requests from internal and external customers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Record financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policy, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail. Participate in the monthly financial close process, focusing on treasury and cash accounting functions, including journal entries and account reconciliation. Collaborate with key contacts in other departments to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and unrecorded transactions, driving process improvements and efficiency. Assist with projects and initiatives aimed at continuously improving accounting processes and efficiency at scale. Manage invoicing customers for ad hoc requirements and recurring invoicing of business lines, understanding subsidiary AR, revenue, and GL accounts/journals. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's or Master's degree with an accounting emphasis or equivalent education and experience in accounting or finance. 1-2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced accounting operations environment; experience in a public company is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly organize and analyze data. Passion for process improvement and automation, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative without constant approval. Preferred Qualifications To further enhance your application, you should have: Experience with SQL and reporting platforms such as Power BI. Knowledge of major ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Good knowledge of balance sheet accounts, profit and loss accounts, journal entries, and accurate debit and credit.
