Job Overview The Account Executive will play a crucial role in identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential selling partners for our key account services. This individual will be responsible for creating and managing a sales pipeline using a highly consultative approach, building relationships with key decision-makers, and presenting compelling paid service arrangements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Identify, qualify, and engage potential selling partners for key account services, leveraging remote data entry skills to manage and analyze sales data. Develop a deep understanding of our selling partners and their needs, as well as the features and functionalities of our paid services. Create compelling incentives around our paid service programs and prospect and close business to achieve monthly objectives for the quantity and quality of dealers enrolled. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics, using data analysis and sales forecasting to inform business decisions. Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and decisively, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to maximize sales performance. Utilize client data to inform proposals that maximize the potential of the assigned territory, and implement and track metrics to measure the success and quality of vendors in the region. Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective domain, and develop a comprehensive understanding of the blithequark marketplace third-party service industry, including knowledge of competing product offerings. Collaborate with internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks, and close business, and manage additional tasks while maintaining a current book of business, such as mentorship and sales analysis as needed. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have: A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, including at least 4 years of sales experience in e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software industries. At least 4 years of business-to-business selling experience, with a proven track record of prospecting, qualifying, and cold-pitching organizations. Demonstrated ability to effectively influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level. Exhibited success in achieving sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach, and a commitment to making the best decisions for the customer. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are preferred: Ability to work with legal, product, and internal stakeholders to negotiate agreements. Solid business judgment, demonstrated ability to influence others, and strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel. Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tools, and strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and creatively advocate for the customer.
