Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one coaching and tutoring support to students of all ages, addressing their unique academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Prepare engaging and relevant lessons that cater to the individual goals and objectives of each student. Maintain regular communication with families regarding session schedules, student progress, and any concerns or issues that may arise. Track student progress using our goal-tracking system, ensuring that you're always up-to-date on their development and can adjust your strategies accordingly. Submit worked hours and maintain ongoing availability in our TutorCruncher system. Update client goal progress in our Goals Portal in a timely and accurate manner. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel as an Academic Tutor and Behavioral Coach with Club Xcite, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents who face behavioral, social, or emotional challenges. Availability to work at least 3 weekdays from 3 pm to 7 pm, with some flexibility for morning and weekend hours. Strong personal organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your schedule effectively. Familiarity with online management platforms, including our TutorCruncher and Goals Portal systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues through various mediums (in-person, email, etc.). The ability to commit to working with a client for a minimum of six months, providing consistent and ongoing support. Reliable transportation and availability during weekdays. A valid CA Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion, which is required before providing client services. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Experience working with students with diverse needs and backgrounds. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for supporting students with behavioral, social, or emotional challenges. Previous experience using online coaching or tutoring platforms. Eligibility for pay increases every 6 months, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
